As I said in another thread the melee has been an over powered attack in this game since COD for the PC. It seems ass fucking backwards to have a game where you empty a half a clip into a guy or hit someone with a shotgun point blank and he doesn't die but running at someone like a mad man, mashing a button wildly and hitting the player anywhere results in a kill. Add onto that the fact that they actually made perks to make this attack stronger, when techinically it's the strongest attack in the game. It's annoying as fuck to play with those guys and I generally leave lobbies if there are more than one jackass running around using the tactical knife and commando.
Think about the strongest attacks in this game (One hit kills guaranteed)
Nuke
Predator Missle
Air Strike
Head Shot
Wild Melee to anywhere on the body.
Which one of these doesn't belong?
I hate it as well at times. I don't run and gun though and work the edges of maps in most games I play so I can adapt a bit faster as once I get to the edges of maps and start working tactically it's easier to pick up on spawn points, enemy positions, etc. Usually takes me 2-3 kills to do it but I find it's easier when you get dropped into the middle of a game to get to the edges, get your bearings a little bit with the map and where your teammates are and go from there. Whether it's run and gun or a tactical plan.
