Online Franchise

I'm just hoping for lag-free online play this year. Online franchises don't really interest me for the simple fact that offline franchises have never interested me. I have never liked the whole offseason part of video game football. I don't want to worry about budgets, salary cap, free agents, stadium maintenance, attendance, drafts/recruits, or progression of players.

I realize I'm in the extreme minority, but I just want to play football and only want solid gameplay. I only play head to head or online, but I still hope all of you franchise/dynasty guys get what you want this year...it's just that none of it matters to me personally.

I'll bet you five bucks, you'd be all over a 220 franchise league...you still get your head to head fill, plus all the other nuances

Imagine if someone like Bigg had a draft pick right before you and took a guy you wanted?

No writing down the stats, everything saved right there at your fingertips

Plus, with progression, you could actually make Vince a good QB lol

With the right group of guys, that shit would be off the chainz

the problem with online franchise in MADDEN would be how many seasons could you realistically get in???

I mean if you did 1 day per week and 3 days for offseason thats 25 days.. The very most you could get in is 14 years (which is completely impossible).......if the limit it to 12 guys like NCAA it could be doable. It would still take probably 50 days per season. So you are looking at 7 seasons. This isnt NCAA where you get 25 new recruits.....would be hard to build up a team.

Ya know, you guys may be right. I may like it once I actually give it a try. I've always been the type that if I do play the CPU, I just play "season" mode and stop after one year. I've really never even tried playing through a franchise. Weird, I know. Not knowing anything about it, it may be something that I will absolutely love. Only time will tell (that means "HURRY THE FUCK UP, AUGUST!").

Rhude, I can't remember what leagues I was in back in the day. Hell, I can't remember what I did this morning, lol. I know I was in some league of Izzy's at one time (by the way, where has that nursery-filler been?)

Anyway, regardless, I'm looking forward to playing some games with you guys in the near future.:collide:

GGML ran 10 seasons this year... enough to play through all the rookies careers and some of your draft picks careers.

Draft a HB at 22 years old, have him done at 32. Seems fine to me.

I am sorry, I didn't mean to do that. There's plenty to be excited about. I'm being told on OS I should have said nothing, and now I agree with that. I should have just let it play out and then explained what I knew about it, but I wanted to temper things, and I was probably out of line in that.

I'll say this; I 100% support the route they took.

After co-op only letting us play 2 vs the cpu and then adem telling us it might not be exactly what we think I have in mind that we should all get ready for a big let-down at least online wise.

I'm wondering how the draft and free agency will be handled. The biggest problem I saw with online franchise is the offseason stuff.
