I am guessin its the GT Academy update?

I finally beat the beginner section last night. I had to use the Alfa Romeo I won in the Professional section to beat the World Classic and European Classic series. Borrowed this 2 cylinder Toyota from Jerry, that he had souped up to beat the Japanese classic. In the end I got the 2001 NSX for finishing it all in Gold

According to Jerry he didn't get that car, so anyone else want to share what they received for finishing certain sections of A-spec in gold? I am guessin its random as hell.

I also found out that the Mugen Civic Hatchback racecar is a beast, I used it in one of the Amateur races last night, dominated everyone, it's a race car so perfectly balanced and a 225 HP turbocharged engine, insane performance.

I need to balance out the Lamborghini, the car is a beast, but man is it a pain in the ass to keep on the track. I have made some adjustments, but I am gonna try a spoiler and mess around with a fully-adjustable suspension.

Also has anyone had experience messing around with the fully adjustable tranny's in this game? Jerrry was saying that the only gear he could adjust was the final gear.

I only have the muscle car series left to do in Amateur, waiting on either winning the Buick special, or the classic muscle from Jeff Gordon or pick up a cheap used car at this point. I am gettin really frustrated with the used car lost selections.

Shoulda bought that Hemi Bee last week...fuck me.

I think I got a Mitsubishi 3000GT for Beginner, however for Professional I got an 03 Lancer Rally car

Yeah I have a Murcielago SuperVeloce and a Gallardo and don't care for either of them. They are manageable as long as you don't lock up the brakes while trying to turn, do most of your braking before you start turning. The Ferrari's handle much better to me. It might also help to change the rear wing, and max out the downforce, and lower ride height 4-5 clicks.

Jerry isn't mistaken, for some reason you can only modify the final gear ratio. This is all I ever used anyways so I'm not bothered but I know a lot of people are pissed.

I ended up buying a cheap muscle car and just doing the engine rebuild on it. Once you get the '62 special prize car, that thing will make you back tons of money.

I'm going to open a lobby around 7pm tonight if anyone wants to race online, we were going to do a DSS league trial race but I think it may just end up being random races for fun. I'll share my cars in the lobby if someone doesn't have a car that can compete with whatever we decide to run at the time.

It's about time we got in a lobby. I will let Jerry's know too, so he can get his lazy fat ass home.

That's the thing though, I wouldn't mind grabbing a used heap, but there are not classic muscle cars in the used car lot! I mean come on, I have been waiting a week now, since I saw that Hemi Bee and now nothing?!? WTF?!?

All I see are cars from the mid-90s and on.

Also the handling issue seems to be a problem with any car that is over 550 HP imho. The Cobra has similar issues, inspite of being so light and I have similar problems with the GTR. All the cars including the lambo I am mentioning were part of the Chromeline special editions that I got through collector's edition. So they are souped up already.

What I did notice made improvements was going with the stage 2 weight loss program ;) and hard sports tires. I am sure racing slicks would help, but I am NOT spending 30k creds on that, thats just crazy talk.

I am gonna mess with the downforce and ride heights on these cars today, see how they do at the practice track. Probably practice the Daytona GP setup, it's got a good mixture of straights and curves that test out the car pretty well.

Yeah, hard sports tires are probably your main problem. I would at least go with soft sports or hard racing. Lower the car some, and increase your camber a few tenths and it will turn better.

Whoa so all you have to do is to, skip through a couple licenses and then back out and the lot gets updated.

                  God thats retarded.

                        I bought it, stock ZR1. =>Race Modify=>Fully Tune

Roughly 600k Total. Can't figure out why its only 883HP though, supposed to be just over 900

I'm about to do the GT All-Stars Race and I needed something that would compete.

Oh yeah and sometimes it shoots flames 3 feet off each side of the car when downshifting

Can you elaborate on the race modify?

Also have you seen that section in GT Auto, where it says "Racing Modifications"? I can't take any car there, any car I take there says "This is not available for your current car" or something similar.

Did you not get the Collector's edition? Jerry and I got that, we got all those supercars as part of the package. Pretty sick, the Lambo is sitting at 881 horses I think, and I haven't even topped out yet on the mods for the car.

I can get out in front in the GT Allstars races, but I always end up losing it off the track somewhere down the line
