so i've failed the IC-10 test prolly around 20 times with TC at 5 and ABS at 1 with everything else off so tonight, i decided i would keep on trying since there's nothing else to do. before i couldn't even get past the first lap without hitting a car and being DQ'd. so i decided to turn the TC down to 1 and what do you know, i passed it first try after i switched lol.

What car is everyone using for the seasonal race at Special Stage worth 1,000,000 (you have to use a GTR)? The damn leader has a 40+ second lead at the start. I do not see myself winning this race.

That's the only one I haven't got yet. I'm using the GT-R '07....not sure that was a wise choice yet....maybe should have run with the GTR Spec V '09.

Consistently in 2nd....but 12 seconds behind the leader. Got tired trying and shut it down last night...going to try again today with some tune tweaking.

I just got this shit.... wish I had the patience to run back thru most of this thread, I played it without downloading it to the harddrive most the day, big mistake fuck that shit takes too long, now I'm downloading it...

Lol I went to my mom's house today and she watched me play the game, I rolled my fucking car over then went into a Kart race and she goes "See, don't get mad at the state for taking your license, even the video game knows you shouldn't be driving" I was sad panda.

this game will get a shitload of playtime at least until I get my license back. Question that has probably been answered already... When you win cars for completing a series/cup do you have to play straight thru the series and get first, or can you go back and do one race to get gold and still get the prize car? I'll prob find this answer out before somebody answers it lol

You don't HAVE to go through event by event. There are times you won't find the car needed for the particular race. So you can jump around depending on your level.

One piece of advice for all the classic cars series(american/british/japanese/etc), make sure you get the car needed as soon as you see it in the used car lot. It can be a pain in the ass otherwise.

Yea with a tuned 09 GTR, the best I have gotten is 6th after 3 runs. I am gonna switch to manual and labor through and hopefully get better results. I jumped to 2nd in the Fiat and CR-z series, using manual, still can't get 1st.
