Ok, so being the weird guy that I am, I just booted up the demo...and the first things I'm doing is looking through all the little overview screens of the "new" features in this years game. So I goto "Road to Glory" and the first feature that's in bold says this,
"Take Erin Andrews on an Adventure"
Now maybe I'm just being immature at the moment...but I lol'ed. :D

Anyone see the glitch when using player lock the center will snap the ball right over the quarterbacks head? The game rules it as an incomplete pass and it happened two times in a row for the computer.

The demo is decent though, look forward to getting some more play time tomorrow before work. Manage to win my first game 11-10, went for the 2pt conversion FTW.

first go at it.
some things i liked...some things i didn't.
user catching really isn't any harder...the passes just might be not so on target and the D is a lil tighter....but the difficulty behind user catching isn't any different than 09.Comment

Ok, after the first game...user catching isn't harder really. I think the issue for you guys is that since the camera angles are different, it makes the user catching seem more difficult when it really isn't.

i had florida pass rushers IN MY FACE the entire demo.
with the tighter pass coverage...made for some difficult decisions.
can't say i'm all that big on player lock....you are doing nothing more than handicapping yourself....if you player lock on a safety and it's a toss play to the other side....you gotta hope the CPU doesn't fuck it up. kinda sucks.
i managed to hold the gators to just 2 first downs on AA. they tried a few too many QB options and WR runs that all ended up for next to nothing.Comment

I've been trying to DL it on both 360/PS3 all day long....at different times. The best I got was 19% after 2hrs before I canceled it and started over on the 360. PS3 is way worse and hate that I have to keep it on while DL the demo. I have Comcast Cable Internet and even hooked the internet line directly to the gaming system....and got off the internet. I made a thread in the Locker Room.Comment

I've played a full game with both teams on All-American.
Overall, I felt that the CPU got a pretty good pass rush on me, and I did a decent job of getting pressure. I was pretty annoyed by one play where I knocked the shit out of Bradford, forcing one of those lame duck passes, but was called for a roughing the passer but its all good. I am dissapointed that I still can't generate much pressure with Oklahoma's DT's, which considering they are two of the best in the country is troublesome.
User catching was still too easy, and the smash route was money almost every time.
Adaptive AI was HUGE, though, and its prescence was dearly felt.
Something needs to be done about pick-six's though. This has been a problem ever since next-gen gaming started, in real life teams rarely get these, hell the NCAA career record is 5, and yet I can get 5 in a season very easily.Comment

NCAA 10 = NCAA 9 slightly tweaked. Some of the tweaks I like. Some I HATE.
Some issues I noticed. 3 times the CPU Center snaps the ball WAY OVER THE QB's head. (cool right b/c it happens IRL) except IT COUNTS AS AN INCOMPLETE PASS!
CPU AI is still RETARDED (3rd and inches I come out goal line defense comes out in a 4-3 FB dive for 15+ yards.
Slants are wide freaking open almost every play against the cpu.
Still easy to get outside the pocket with speedy QBs (Tebow)
Pass rush is non existent without blitzing.
More details to come as I play the demo more.Comment

The run game seems to work really well for me, a couple of seconds ago I just busted a stretch play 85 yards, I juked the shit out of the last guy it was great.
Playing on aggressive definitely results in more pressure from the line, and I've actually only had one penalty so far.
So far I like it.
