i just asked about fallout 3 yesterday they said they would give me $14 and they still sell it for $50 WTF? I can get at least 30 for that same game on craigslist

Why are you buying Madden?

I'll be honest, if I hadn't gone to community day, I might be waiting on it.

For those of who you are sold at this point, why? What made the difference. This is aimed especially at those who hated '09 (that'd be most of you).

I am buying Madden because no matter how bad of a reception it receives, or how much people complain about it, I will still buy it. It is just something I do every single year since about 1997. I have gotten it the day it came out every single year lol. It signals the beginning of the NFL season and I love that.

The past 2 years I haven't been that "excited" about it dropping but I bought it anyway. I am truly EXCITED this year from interacting with the people who make Madden possible on Twitter. You can really tell the work that goes into it and Ian & crew really put attention to detail and work hard on it. In year's past, there was no interaction in the community. Also hearing the reception from you Adem has really gotten me excited.

Ehh, I get it because it's Madden. Seriously almost everyone gets it, doesn't matter if it sucks or not. But I hope this year will be good.

1) Online Chise mode
2) Stretch ratings, doing this manually is not fun but it's something I toyed with on PC versions and it vastly improved the experience
3) Sliders are back to help customize the game so I can adjust it to provide sim with my own skill set even further than last year
4) Franchise re-done. Offline franchise finally appears to not be a giant bag of shit. I don't need to to blow me away, I just need to to fucking function somewhat normally, and it appears it will.
5) Presentation finally looks legit with all the minor touches added, the overlays and display seem to have diverted from that gaudy shit in 09 to something you'd see on TV.
6) Game speed adjustment

All these items are big for me with this game.


For the record, I didn't hate 09, I play it off and on, it is an alright game.
