It really isn't. On the 256 player mode, all the action is spread out across the map. At most it will be 30 v 30.

I played the beta and this game is not for those who dont have friends with ps3s b/c this game can get boring quick if all you have is randoms or 1 other person you need about 4other people you know for this game to be awesome

I agree... and thats the reason why I'm still on the fence about this game. I still might pick it up, since i got a 40 dollar gift card at GameStop.

MAG Game Tools is, as the name implies, a bunch of tools I wrote for / about the new, awesome 256 player Playstation 3 exclusive MAG. I shared one with some friends, and they all seemed to find it useful, so I figure maybe other random internet people might find them useful as well. So, here they are!

All the data on the site at the moment was entered by hand by myself or my buddy Boogat based on what we scribbled down from the screens in-game during the beta. This means it may not be 100% accurate for the retail version, but in the first day or so of release, I will be updating info if there have been changes. Also, many of the images were taken off my TV with a cell phone camera, and for that, I apologize. If you have a fancy pants way of getting better images and want to help me out, visit the about page for what I need help with.

I'll shut up now and let you get on with the site. Enjoy.

I've got no idea... I would assume so but if you can't I know of a "prestige" system where if you do really well, you can trade to a different faction.

Something like becoming a mercenary.
