Back on XB1, GR was more or less Rainbow Six on a console (to me). Semi-realistic, big settings, one shot-one kill. Get some guys to play a little coop and terrorist hunt. Good shit.

Besides the fact that the Tom Clancy games are just re-using old PC maps (and, now, last-gen maps) they made everything smaller (but made the characters bigger) and added health meters.

Ghost Recon was a large scale, realistic (ish) shooter based on the out-doors. Rainbow Six was a smaller, tactical and had a lot of indoors fighting, but still dealt in reality.

Now, they are just generic FPS recycling maps I've played...and with crappier graphics.
    This.

The one shot kills and map size made engaging with enemies upclose a high risk proposition. Everything is geared towards running and gunning now.

I loved how RB6 and GR were basically 2 totally different ways to play a military shooter. Sadly even with RB6 the voice commands on the XB were almost double then next gen.
Best reason to have a license.
