After seeing Man City purchase Ashley Young for $32.5 mil I've decided to go and see how many games all of these big purchases actually played for them. ($9.5 mil+, EPL games only) I am now in January 2013.

Season 2010/11 (101 total EPL games since)
Bryan Ruiz ($23.5) - 82 games, still with team.
Landon Donovan ($10) - 28 games, still with team.
Jeremy Menez ($25.5) - 20 games, sold to Inter in 2013 for $13.25 mil.
Javi Martinez ($27.5) - 55 games, still with team.
Victor Ruiz ($24.5) - 22 games, still with team.

Jonathan Biabiany ($17.75) - 8 games, still with team.

Forgot to mention, those last few games I had were all against other top teams, and Sunderland. Was an insane way to end the season. I ended up drawing one, losing one, and winning the rest, which put me in third.

Had a good summer, bought Ben Khalifa for 8.5mil, a backup DM who's going to have to start since Sissoko is hurt (forgot his name), and a bunch of wonderkids who are all probably going to see a good amount of playing time.

It's a 93-day loan, which is an emergency loan (ie short-term). If Forest reach the play-offs he will be ineligible for them.

Okay, wasn't sure what the terms of Konchesky's loan were, I just figured it was a regular one. Short-term loans are definitely not in it, as Donovan's to Everton wasn't last year.

From what I know on the attribute bumps, I've talked to the Newcastle researcher since the game came out and he said they're going to wait for this patch to do any bumps so they're more realistic. When they used to them on the first patch, which meant anyone in good form would in real life would be amazing. Haven't checked yet but Tiote and Jose Enrique are supposed to be much better.

So I can either get Bryan Ruiz or Stewart Downing. They will be playing left mid for me in a wide midfielder role. Opinions on who would be better? Downing's advantage is he's a bit quicker and English, Ruiz is better technically.
