There's only two good Basque players that aren't already at Bilbao.

Xabi Alonso and Natxo Monreal.

Alonso, obviously, isn't interested in joining.

Monreal was willing to talk contract, but his agent ended talks after my first offer, lol.

So basically, I have £40m sitting around for fun. No wonder why our finances are listed as rich.

edit: I lied. Azpillicueta (sp?) is good and available. Making an offer for him. He's expensive, but considering I have no other targets I can splurge.

double edit: Azpillicueta's agent won't open contract negotiations. To be noted is it's the same agent as Monreal, who has an extreme dislike for me now apparently, so I won't be able to talk to any of their clients.

triple edit: Arsenal's Mikel Arteta has been transfer listed. I've made a bid to bring him back to Spain.

Just lost a 2-1 first leg lead to Arsenal in the Carling Semis. They had 6 shots on target and scored with 5 of them to win 6-3 on aggregate. Fuck

Finally got Monreal to sign. It took an absurd wage offer to get him to be interested in making the move from Malaga, but we got him.

Well, now this was rather strange.

After getting the sack by Arsenal back in 2011, Wenger has returned to Arsenal as manager in February 2014, from Sevilla, after David Moyes got sacked.

Defeated Dinamo 5-3 on aggregate in the first knockout round.

Defeated Villa 4-4 on away goals (lost 4-2 @ Villa, Won 2-0 at home) in the second knockout round.

We've drawn Rubin in the quarterfinals. Winner plays the winner of Bordeaux/OM.

Domestically, we have yet to lose a match (other than CDR, which I didn't concern myself with) under my management. 6 wins and 6 draws.

If you have Steam hit F11, then click Screenshots under the View option. It doesn't seem to work if you're on a Mac, though.

went into the MLS Playoffs as the 1st seed and lost in the first round to DC United on PKs (which i think is absolutely retarded, should be determined by away goals, and so on, but that's just me)

i won the first game 3-2 in DC then DC ended up winning the second game 2-1. i guess overall i can't be too upset since i took them from not making the playoffs in 2019 to being the top seed in 2020

We've finally been eliminated from the Europa League, in the semifinals by Marseille 5-2 on aggregate. Lost 3-0 at Marseille, and drew 2-2 at home.

Domestically, we still have not lost in league play under my management, with just 3 matches remaining. We're currently sitting 4th in the table with 63 points and a game in hand on 5th place on Atletico Madrid, who trail us by 1 point. We trail 3rd place Sevilla by 6 points, but have a game in hand on them as well, so a win can put just 3 points out of 3rd place in the table.

Real Madrid is on 88 points, with 4 matches to go, while Barcelona are on 80 points with 3 to go, so a Real Madrid win in their next match makes them champions.

Our final home game is our next match, against Granada, followed by a visit to Camp Nou, and ending at Racing.

edit: Madrid have indeed won and retain the title. It's their 3rd straight.
