why do we have 2 threads for one issue? this is the most publicity the ps3 ever got at one time

sidenote: i know this wasnt planned, but MS and PSN both do routine maintenance and it shuts down the entire network. in this case u cant play some game offline and the trophies are fucked up. but its not like they arent going to fix this. Its not like its gonna brick your system. Hopefully its fixed by tomorrow so people can play online with the show and BF2 or whatever they want to play.

when something happens with a service provider for a company that gives the other provider its networking it cant be blamed on the provider of the service natural disasters are just that natural which cant be avoided this though was a structural attack(or so im hearing bug) it seems which is in the fault of sony

I think it is a type of leap year bug. I know it isn't a leap year but this happens alot regarding shit getting all screwed up around the 28th of February. The 1st thing that popped out to me was the calendar and time change. I have a feeling we will see a new firmware update either REALLY late tonight or tomorrow morning

Ok i heard about this issue late last nite but didnt think much of it...this morning though i saw PS3 was a trending topic and saw people saying how owners of the older PS3 models (the fat ones) shouldnt even turn the system on! I dont know what to believe right now

I am one of those owners and I dont think i'll touch my PS3 until i find out whats up. Sucks cause MLB 10 comes out tomorrow.
