It's actually good? I saw it today and didn't even bother downloading the trial because I figured it would be complete trash.

Limbo is pretty fucking awesome, although I think $15 is $5 too much.

Yeah I played the Limbo Demo and it is spooky. SO quiet. Fun game though. I need one of those points cards on discount. I want all these summer arcade games.

I beat Limbo last night and loved it. I don't mind the $15 dollar price on DeathSpank and Limbo because they're well produced games that are fantastic. If charging an extra $5 bucks allows them to take more risks with creative properties like this, then I'm all for it. The fact that arcade games used to be $10 really makes no difference to me, because the great arcade games that I've played (Shadow Complex, Braid, Limbo, DeathSpank, Puzzle Quest 1 & 2) have all been better than any $10 game that I've purchased.

Back to Limbo, the last few puzzles are a fucking mindfuck. When I started the game I thought that the achievement where you have to complete the game in one sitting dying 5 or less times would be easy. I died 4 times on the final puzzle alone AFTER I had figured out what to do.

Yeah, it is. Do you have a TRU near you? You can use that 40% off coupon on ALL accessories. I'm about to head there in a bit and scoop up some cards. Hopefully some PSN ones as well.

It is a very cool game but it is very short. That's my only issue.

I already figured that with that cheeve I'd go for it on a second playthrough. Hopefully my old ass remembers all the puzzles so I shouldn't die. But I am old.

Zero chance that game is 5 or 6 hours. More like 2. Seriously. 5 hours maybe if you die 1000 times. You die a lot and it is very much trial and error at first.

I think Shipwreck from CAG had a spot on review. He gave it a "very Good" and recommended a Buy Price of $10, which I completely agree. He said it's a great game but it's over almost as soon as it starts.

I dunno about 2 hours. If you beat that game in 2 hours, you looked up the puzzles online, honestly. I'd say with the amount of trial and error and some of the very tricky puzzles, it took me about 4-5 hours. And you do die A LOT if you don't know what to do sometimes.

I really liked Death Spank as well but if I buy it it will be on PSN.

I'm just wondering how RPG it is? It looked like there were a lot of inventory options and combining of items and shit. I'm not into that stuff.

I'm stuck on Chapter 14 of Limbo. It's the puzzle with the elevator and the box. I refuse to look at any tips or guides though. It is really pissing me off at this point.

You cant be considered a hardcore game unless you like these types of games. I love them. I see why most people don't like them. One game can literally consume 100 of hours. So your never done with it for months compared to others where you can finish in a week and move on.

Just because I don't like a particular genre of gaming doesn't mean I'm not a hardcore gaming. I also can't stand fighting games.

And you consider yourself "hardcore" yet you haven't played any of the God of War games. LOL.

I turned into a hardcore gamer once this generation of consoles came out. On ps2 I only played Madden and Socom.
