One thing that 'really grinds my gears' about this whole LC:TGoL thing revolves around the lack of online. When you go to download either the demo or full game or look at the myriad ads on Live all you read is "co-op" thi and "co-op" that. How many people do you think are going to get fooled into thinking "Well a game that revolves around co-op and is plastered all over Xbox Live must have online. Here's my $15!" only to find out that isn't the case. Because it's not like the average Joe knows anything about the patch coming out next month and no where in the game description does it say "offline co-op only" from what I could tell.Comment

Personally, I think if they could've somehow had Shank and Comic Jumper in the SoA instead of a few of these stinkers the SoA could've been awesome.Comment

Games like Hydro thunder or Monday Night Combat would probably sell nothing if it wasnt for the SOA event.
IMHO.Comment

dont you think you have to pay MS to be on the "Summer of Arcade" event? It is a way to have your games promoted. Publishers for arcade games like Comic Jumper or Shank probably predict that these games are good enough to not have to pay MS extra money for Promotions.

And it's not like anyone besides people like us have heard of Shank or Comic Jumper. Hell, CJ is from Twisted Pixel, a very small developer. They need all the help they can get. they make great games like The Maw and 'Splosion Man but it's not like they are a household name.Comment

You're probably right. Although I can't imagine they'd have to pay for LC. That game has been hyped since last year.

Also, Comic Jumper SHOULD come out this year, but who knows when.Comment

Anyone else try Blacklight: Tango Down? I got it last night and had a blast with it. For a $15 game, the value is unrivaled. It's a poor man's Call of Duty with a ton of weapon unlocks and ways to customize your character.Comment

Also, apparently for those that get the 360 version of Lara Croft you will be entitled to download the first DLC pack for FREE for the first 30 days of release. Apparently it is a sort of apology for not having online ready to go.http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/65180
It looks like I may as well download this version. You can't go wrong with free dlc.Comment
