I wish they hadn't watered down down Sub-Zero. To me, his ice-moves came out quicker in MK3/UMK3/MKT. Should have kept his 'ice-shower' too.

I'm probably in the minority, but I miss the 'run' feature.

I actually played Freddy for the first time today..And i have to say he fits well with the MK series. His moves are solid and he has a nice combo flow. This also goes without saying his grab/xray/fatilities are legit. I'm excited to see what other can do with him online. I think he will be one of the toughest characters to be, besides rain or the ever popular Ermac.
