Are the Knicks worth Saving?

So Im on the fence about getting NBA2k9 but since the Sonics aren't in it, there's no team Id like for an association...

with the exception of the Knicks....Im just thinking are they so far gone that they're not worth saving....are they?..

I mean I'd have to gut the roster save for Chandler,Lee, n.....no thats it
