Can someone please explain the premise/point of the game so I don't sound like an uninformed jackass when I say I've never played it, and likely never will. Chances are many things have changed since I first heard about the game in it's alpha build.

I'm sure they haven't. No real point at all in this game. Collect items to build items and then use those to create.

Also you can fight zombies and stuff.

So there isn't much closure to the game? Just keep building and doing new things? I love seeing screenshots of what people did, but I just don't have the patience to sit through it myself. That's why they make different games I guess.

It's another game where you get as much as you put into it.

The building system is great once you get the hang of it; even if you go into it blind and just try different combinations.

Hell, just figuring out how to make stone bricks so the interior of a house looks better is a fun time-waster.

And if you want adventure, the game is populated with spiders, skeletons and all matters of beast that wish to kill you when the sun goes down... very exciting stuff when you're trying to juggle building tools and gather food.

Forza ran a lot longer than normal tonight and I didn't feel like jumping in that late at night. I'll join the shenanigans tomorrow.

I can easily lose a couple hours while playing this damn game. The other night my son and I played for 5 straight hours without realizing it.

Bomber went from interior decorator (once I gave him the formula for Stone Bricks and he grew an affinity for... Cedar... (I think?) for flooring) to full-blown licensed contractor last night.

Completely abandoned the original base but the "No Girls Allowed" Fort is coming along quite nicely.

I just ended up exploring Dig Sites (there's 3 now with a 4th somewhere hidden deep under the surface... "Modor") and found a glitch on my end that had a 50x50 hole straight to the bottom of the level of my screen.

Bomber couldn't see it but he made no bones about trying to hurtle me to my digital death via invisible porthole.

Now I basically want to go back to "Modor" (once I can find it again... I died in there twice and lost my Map so I have no idea where the place is.) and to explore a place that looks like two mountains from the side but is really one connected mountain range.

...the game's insane with stuff like this and to think that it's all randomly generated has me giddy.

I don't know about you guys but I'm having the most fun so far just building stuff and I like doing it in Survival mode so there is the chance a Creeper can come blow up your structure.
