i have no interest in motion gaming. the wii is about as close to it that i want to get. some of those games are kind of cool with how they implement the motion controls into the traditional control. but the kinect is full motion control and that might be ok if they made a game that was worth even looking at. all i know about the games so far is they all seem like kids games that a kid wouldnt even play

if any one of these consoles made a motion game that was good then ok.....but they would have to over hype the greatest game of all time for me to even give it a look

the next thing these companies should focus on is a virtual reality experience that is like being in the matrix. something that u still control with your controller, but where it makes u feel like your actually in the game world. the movie disclosure had a scene about a virtual reality program. a concept like that would be great for future games

PS3 is still focusing on AAA exclusives and there's a shit ton coming out this year, its true a bunch are using Move like Socom 4 Killzone 3, but they are all optional, if you like using the move controller use it, and if you dont its not forced upon you. how many top notch exclusives are coming out for M$? Gears, Forza, and... and... a bunch of motion based games. its only a matter of time before wii-like shovelwear is coming out in droves. maybe they got a big trick up their sleeve, but as of right now theres nothing. if your down with jumping around like a monkey flailing your arms in your living room then more power to you but that aint my preference.

Shipwreck from CAG was saying that he thinks that Kinect is going to fall off like a brick come summer 2011 and I agree. MS usually makes great business decisions but basically putting all their eggs in one basket with Kinect is probably going to bite them in the ass. No serious games are coming out for it.

Regret that I only have one thanks to give to that post. It's great for the consumer when the major console makers are spending money on R&D to improve gaming whether it is an area that you care about like motion controllers or not. We would be the big losers if Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo pulled an EA and just focused on milking the cow instead of innovation.

I'm actually rather impressed with the Kinect. My kids love it, it's great exercise...

It will probably fade out over time, but it's a really amazing piece of tech. It just needs some non-Wii games...Star Wars or something serious. I'm not getting a dance game....ever.
