When I first signed up for GF I was excited so I put a bunch of games in my gameq, but I never received the newer games at the top of my list. So, taking the advice from someone on the forum I only keep one game in the gameq and that is the game I want. Since I’ve been doing that I’ve never had a problem getting a new release game.
gamefly or blockbuster by mail

i currently use gamefly. my only complaint/drawback, i dont understand their availability system. it will show a game stock as low/med/high/available now. if you have it in stock then ship it. if its out then say no in stock. cause you either have it or you dont. unless they hold a few back for lost or damaged discs.Comment

BB is a better offer. Talk to the BB associates in your area, see if they've heard anything. Maybe they'll tell you if they plan on sticking around. If they are, then I'd go with BB.Comment

And Blockbuster is basically out of business. There are Red Boxes everywhere. I live in the sticks and there is a Red Box at the grocery store down the street. Most people rent games planning on plowing through them. So if you get a game, like Portal for instance, you could easily beat that in a few days. Four or six dollars is a great deal.Comment

I have a love/hate relation with GF.
I had the 2 game deal and would always keep 1 game and put future releases on my gameQ. So when a new game came out they would send it to me. I would then send the other game back, before the next future release was about to come out. So I never had a problem getting the game I wanted.
However, Gamefly is to expensive for my taste. If you are like me and only keep future releases on your list. You'll come to times where there are no new games (games I actually want to play) and will be sitting here with 1 or no disc. So I'm paying almost $30 a month for "outages". Sure that's not there fault, but I can't afford to do that.
GF does delivery quite quickly, there is 1 day between when they send it out and when I get it. So if they send it out Monday, I get it Wednesday. (I'm in Kansas, distribution is in Austin.)
Overall if you can afford it, go with GF. It's superior and for the most part they don't make many mistakes. (Never gotten a bad disc and never not gotten a game.)
