DICE just confirmed that the USAS-12 frag rounds are going to be nerfed.

Now let's just hope we actually see it soon, on consoles. The tac-light was one of the first things we were assured would be nerfed. But we're still waiting on that one.

DICE has finally released the long awaited patch for Battlefield 3 on PlayStation 3 that fixes the VOIP problems that have persisted since launch. Weighing in at only 11MB the lightweight fix should be a quick download for most. PS3 users are confirming that the patch is alleviating the long standing communication issues.

Aside from the communication fixes, PlayStation 3 players will also find that the USAS-12 Shotgun has been balanced, as well as a retooling of the M-COM Defender/Attack Ribbon, making it easier to get post patch.

While some fans are definitely starting to get annoyed by the rebalancing and "nerfing" of equipment in the game, one thing that everyone can applaud DICE on, is the communication fix that is a vital component of any online experience.

The update will automatically download and apply upon signing on to the PSN and starting Battlefield 3.

It is rumored that DICE will reveal an upcoming DLC pack for Battlefield 3 this week at an Electronic Arts in event in New York.

So, I started BF3 last week and decided to play a bit after the SB last night. Try to load the game (on Guillotine level) and I get nothing but a black screen.

There is nothing I hate more than replaying something.

No. I doubt they will until it's about to be released. Until then, all we have are twitter/forum posts from devs alluding to things getting worked on.

Hitting a helicopter with a regular tank shell is always satisfying, but hitting a parachuter in one shot is downright hilarious. This game needs a recorder.
