That's what I plan on doing, but I have a question. Can online passes be "shared"? I thought they could but I don't want to take the chance of screwing it up. I was just going to punch in the Premium code into my PS3 and then download the stuff on my wife's, but should I do it the other way around since I already have the Online Pass?

The only way I've seen a passcode "shared" was through the same system, using two different log-in names.

Each code that comes with the game is specific to the disc itself so once you use it, it's used for whatever system you put it on.

Same goes for the Premium code once you use that on a specific system.

All it does through this is create separate profiles on BF3, on the same system, with all the DLC included if you use the Premium code.

TL;DR - If you have the regular copy and the Premium copy, both will be able to play online, but only one will be able to use the Premium code because sharing it isn't possible.

Incorrect. I checked other forums to make sure. This content is no different than any other content. It can be shared on two systems.

You can share the premium code but theres a trick to it. Each PSN ID can be activated on up to 2 different systems. What you would need to do is add your PSN ID to your wifes system and then go to the playstation store and look at your download history and download the premium pass. After its finished and activated you then log out of your account and login to your wifes account and start the game. You will notice you have access to it. Just make sure you keep your PSN ID on that system because if you delete your account it will no longer work

Oh, I know. I've done it several times for other stuff like Fat Princess, Dead Nation, etc.

                  Awesome, thanks.

I've seen confirmation on other boards but I prefer to hear it from VSNers.

It's stuff like this why I prefer PS3. You can't do that stuff on 360. Being able to share the DLC content for Borderlands with my wife is awesome. I also just ordered a second copy of Borderlands 2 for my wife because I figure any DLC I buy I can share with here. I always get twice as much out of my PSN purchases than I do on Xbox just because of that.

The main challenge is going to be getting my wife off of CoD and playing this.

I would guess not considering there is a big patch coming out tomorrow for the new DLC.

The other console you shared it with, did they already have the vanilla version and/or the Online Pass? I'm just trying to cover all my bases.

I just pooped my disc in and somehow did not need any patches/updates. I'm guessing because of PS+. The update for my wife's PS3 looks like it is going to take forever though considering she has never played it.

So, Battlefield 3 game night tonight (Tuesday)?

I have Close Quarters and Armored Kill installed and I'll download the new one as soon as it's available on the store.

FYI, it looks like the new update just went live. It's another almost 2GB. Sheesh.
