The IGN gameplay video talked about the new tackling system and how you can now lunge at players. Then it talked about new dive catches and finally talked about the zone defense and showed how the linebackers and DBs interact with each other in the defense.
The prensentation video pretty much went over everything we have heard from earlier this week.
Anyone else think it's weird that the author of the OS article says he only played half of a game but that was enough to write a preview on gameplay? Just makes me wonder how much time all of these sites actually spent playing.

They do that every year. They all played the game a week or two ago and wrote a preview and have been waiting for EA to release them from the NDA. EA gets hands on feedback from "community leaders" and review sites. The community/review sites get a scoop.
Anyways, it's not a "Review" but merely just a "Preview". Take it for what it's worth but realize the build that everyone played is a work in progress.
I'm interested to see how the new zone defense works. The reports do sound encouraging.

The new zone defense and tackling look awesome. The dive catches were "Meh" because they showed the same exact dive catch four times.
As I said, don't expect a revolution. They came up with something that worked in NCAA 11 and now is the time to expand and improve on that and it looks like they are.
If the defensive stuff works correctly, this could be a big step forward to having actual sim football.
