I'm going to pre order from GS but if I find it cheaper online, I'll return the online copy to GS and keep the code for the uniforms.

I like you, St. Fran, but this may be one of the worst things I've ever read here on VSD.
Why should we accept what corporations shove down our throats in any capacity? If publishers sold zero copies of DLC, they wouldn't charge us more for it.
A big part of the problem in modern society is that we as people are so apathetic and accepting of our current conditions.
I understand being pissed off about it, but my point is that nothing we say is going to change it. Every single video game today has DLC, from extra maps on first-person shooters, to upgrades and weapons in MMOs, extra courses in Tiger Woods, etc. It's just a natural progression.
I'm not pissed off at EA about it...I understand it. I don't like it, but I understand it. And it's not like they're taking away critical things...it's still a complete game. But to make extra money, they add some alternate uniforms. I'd rather have them as DLC than not have them at all.Comment

It's like a few weeks ago I went to the grocery store to buy a case of Coke. All the grocery store had was 20 packs. They had no more 24 packs and they sold the 20 packs at the same price. What's easier than raising prices? Taking shit away from you.
Business is business. No one is holding a gun to your head to buy the DLC. Me? I've never paid for DLC ever. I won't do it.Comment

Most of the time the DLC I've bought has been to add extra songs to Rock Band games and then recently on LA Noire for the extra cases. I've never bought DLC for NCAA Football though. Some things you want to do in this years game like advance the week in a OD from the online website, that is a one-time $3 charge. Want to use the super sim against the CPU in an OD on the website, also a one-time $3 charge."It's the revenge of the dicks that's nine cocks that cock nines"Comment

I dont think thats a bad thing personally. 11 wasn't a bad game, it just needed some minor tweaks to the gameplay. Add in the additions to Online dynasty, custom playbooks, and, hopefully, improved defense, I'll be very happy.Comment

Another thing I didn't really notice, maybe because the change is too subtle, is the removal of suction blocking/tackling. The proximity of when the animations kick-in might have been reduced but it doesn't seem to have affected gameplay too much.Comment
