I'm going to pre order from GS but if I find it cheaper online, I'll return the online copy to GS and keep the code for the uniforms.

Why should we accept what corporations shove down our throats in any capacity? If publishers sold zero copies of DLC, they wouldn't charge us more for it.

A big part of the problem in modern society is that we as people are so apathetic and accepting of our current conditions.
I happen to like you too...well I take that back, I liked you until you abandoned your music review thread. :P

I understand being pissed off about it, but my point is that nothing we say is going to change it. Every single video game today has DLC, from extra maps on first-person shooters, to upgrades and weapons in MMOs, extra courses in Tiger Woods, etc. It's just a natural progression.

I'm not pissed off at EA about it...I understand it. I don't like it, but I understand it. And it's not like they're taking away critical things...it's still a complete game. But to make extra money, they add some alternate uniforms. I'd rather have them as DLC than not have them at all.

More than likely they just took something off the game that was already in it and sold it off as DLC. You get less game now unless you want to pay more than $60. The industry has been stuck at that price point for 6 years now. Game companies are finding anyway to stick it to you because they want to charge more but retailers aren't budging. Watch the next gen of games hit $75-80 for a game. Just watch.

It's like a few weeks ago I went to the grocery store to buy a case of Coke. All the grocery store had was 20 packs. They had no more 24 packs and they sold the 20 packs at the same price. What's easier than raising prices? Taking shit away from you.

Business is business. No one is holding a gun to your head to buy the DLC. Me? I've never paid for DLC ever. I won't do it.

Most of the time the DLC I've bought has been to add extra songs to Rock Band games and then recently on LA Noire for the extra cases. I've never bought DLC for NCAA Football though. Some things you want to do in this years game like advance the week in a OD from the online website, that is a one-time $3 charge. Want to use the super sim against the CPU in an OD on the website, also a one-time $3 charge.

Monday kicks off the 2011 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) from Los Angeles, CA. At 3:30 PM ET Monday, Electronic Arts will hold their live press conference where they will be showcasing games ranging from Battlefield 3, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Need for Speed: On The Run, & Mass Effect 3 to EA SPORTS titles including Madden NFL 12, FIFA 12, & SSX.

While NCAA Football 12 is not expected to be part of the on-stage festivities, significant game news and information is expected to be released this week, specifically as it relates to Road to Glory mode improvements. Following the press conference, EA SPORTS will be holding a uSTREAM event at 4:30 PM ET where they will interview game developers and show off games such as NCAA Football 12, Madden NFL 12, FIFA 12, and NHL 12.

As E3 attendees and media outlets air new footage and present previews of NCAA Football 12 throughout the week, we will post that content here at The Gaming Tailgate.

On Wednesday, June 8 at 4PM ET, EA SPORTS will be conducting the ‘NCAA Football 12 24-Minute Challenge’ where they will answer your questions (via Twitter and Facebook) about NCAA Football 12 within 24 minutes. Facebook comments with the most ‘Likes' and Twitter questions that get retweeted with the #easportse3 hashtag will be in the pool of potential questions that they will take to the producers & developers.

I didn't see any of that shit bull rush animation. Did anyone else see it? Other than a few small changes, the game looks identical to NCAA 11.

I dont think thats a bad thing personally. 11 wasn't a bad game, it just needed some minor tweaks to the gameplay. Add in the additions to Online dynasty, custom playbooks, and, hopefully, improved defense, I'll be very happy.

I'm glad that the bull rush animation is a rarity. It could have been incredibly cheap if it happened all the time.

Yeah, that's what I was worried about which is why I specifically watched for that animation to occur.

Another thing I didn't really notice, maybe because the change is too subtle, is the removal of suction blocking/tackling. The proximity of when the animations kick-in might have been reduced but it doesn't seem to have affected gameplay too much.
