Crowd sounds real good.Comment

Yeah, that's what I was worried about which is why I specifically watched for that animation to occur.
Another thing I didn't really notice, maybe because the change is too subtle, is the removal of suction blocking/tackling. The proximity of when the animations kick-in might have been reduced but it doesn't seem to have affected gameplay too much.Comment

So, due to the limitations being put on us (not able to change the number of teams or delete conferences), I did a dramatic re-imagining of a conference set-up today, looking for some thoughts.
13 divisions, nine teams per division. Everyone plays an eight-game conference schedule, so no conference championships.
I did some slight renaming to the conferences as well (even though I know I won't be able to do this in game). The PAC-12 is just the PAC, the Mountain West is the Big West Conference, the Big XII is the Southwest Conference, the Big Ten is the Big North, the Big East is the Northeast Conference (NEC), the ACC is now the Big East, and the two new conference additions are the Great Lakes Conference, and the Midwest Conference. The three military schools are still the three independents.
Seven conference champions will automatically qualify for a BCS bowl, with the three remaining spots going to at-large bids. Those conference are : the PAC, Big West, SWC, SEC, Big North, NEC, and the Big East. That makes seven BCS conferences, and six non-BCS conferences.
This set up allows me to remove the three created schools I had planned on adding earlier to balance out my conferences in the west. Anyway, here's the layout. Let me know what you think:
Code:Pacific Conference (PAC) USC UCLA Cal Stanford Fresno St. Oregon Oregon St. Washington Washington St. --------------------------------- Big West Conference (Big West) Arizona Arizona St. Utah BYU Boise St. Colorado Colorado St. Hawaii San Diego St. --------------------------------- Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Nevada UNLV Idaho Utah St. Wyoming San Jose St. New Mexico New Mexico St. UTEP --------------------------------- Southwest Conference (SWC) Texas Texas A&M Texas Tech Baylor TCU Houston Oklahoma Oklahoma St. Arkansas --------------------------------- Southeast Conference (SEC) LSU Ole Miss Alabama Auburn Florida Florida St. Miami USF UCF --------------------------------- Sun Belt Conference (Sun Belt) North Texas SMU Rice La. BIG 10/SEC OD is going to be the way to go this year. Most of the teams are 5-6 Star Prestige and both have conference championships.
Finally, I won't feel completely outathlete'd when I'm dropping bombs on random bums with SMU this year.

As far as everything I've seen so far, I couldn't be happier with on field stuff. The game seems to be looking phenomenal and playing well with the new momentum stuff... I guess I just expected a little more out of the year they supposedly focused most of their energy on Dynasty mode. I was holding out for a Spring game and perhaps some sortof team chemistry aspect, but neither look to be in. Oh well... I'm still excited for custom playbooks!Comment

I think the only people that say this kind of thing is someone that hasn't played in a while, or someone who didn't play NCAA 11 enough to notice the animations. I still play it regularly and every video I see something new that was changed. Mostly within the tackling and the suction being gone.

As far as tackling animations go, were there any new ones added? Survivor is right about that, I think. They added the new dive catch animations and the new line animations and that was it, right?Comment
