The changes are subtle. It's especially hard to notice the changes to suction blocking and tackling. It's one of those things where it will feel different when you get the controller in your hand.

As far as tackling animations go, were there any new ones added? Survivor is right about that, I think. They added the new dive catch animations and the new line animations and that was it, right?

You can see how momentum is in play. You hardly see things like a bigger back get stood straight up and make it seem like the player has no momentum. That would happen all the time in NCAA 11. I have only seen about 4 or 5 tackles that were from last year. The collision system makes a big visual difference. Like I said I still play 11 regularly(season 17 in my dynasty) so I am used to the animations in that game. I also see on plays where suction would occur where the defender end up whiffing. Check the opening kickoff in that Clemson video. The gunner that gets through would have sucked right into that tackle at the 15 yard line. Instead he runs right by him and the returner grabs another 15 yards because he didn't get suctioned into a tackle animation

I used to hate big backs getting stood up. I had a huge 6'5 240lb RB in like year 20 of my OD, he'd get stood up by safties nearly half his size

The only new information I've picked up from that 4-part series is that after the 7 or 11 game regular season, you get to play HS playoffs. That's pretty nice.

The being able to play both ways is nice too, and the progression from 2nd string to starter with coach trust and what not all look like great improvements

This is all I use RTG for as well. After the named rosters come out its onto dynasties for the rest of the year.

Rosters looks like shit this year too. At least, Nebraska does. Going to need to do a lot of work on it beyond just naming them.

Depends on what build they were using. Rosters are one of the last things to get finalized.

They would have said something already if we were able to add conferences. Back in the day NCAA coverage showed us major features but there were little surprises after you actually got the game, but nowadays I feel like there aren't any surprises left after you get it.

Well, I just went and re-read the custom conferences blog...WTF, I could've swore I read about the ability to add conferences.
