Being good at video games is a curse for those wanting to enjoy the offline career/season modes of EA sports games, that's for damn sure.

KG speaks the truth. Unless you have 0 patience, scoring is a cinch. Just wait until the AI does something stupid and you score. Like, leaving uncovered WRs in 5 wide sets, or blitzing everyone in the middle of the field for an easy TD up the seam.

        Lol 6 TDs.

I've played 2 games, lost one 10-7, won the other 10-0. Scoring seems about just right given the quarter length. This is on varsity btw.

They either need to go back to the drawing board and make an AI that tracks tendencies and adapts...or just make a full push and try to get everyone playing Online Dynasty. It also doesn't help when they're intent on holding your hand and making sure you succeed. They intentionally set the game up so it'll let anyone take their favorite school and turn them into a monster quickly.

Playing the CPU is brutal at this point. No idea how ppl can get through multiple seasons of it. No matter what sliders/difficulty/house rules you choose it'll all come crashing down at some point.

Yep. That's what makes online play enticing, because the user can take over the AI player who's being retarded to make up for it.

But then with online play you have to deal with scheduling games, flaky owners, and when it comes to NCAA you still have the CPU involved anyways.

Hence why I'll wait for Madden cause if it's where I want it to be, TGT can return and I don't have to deal with the damn CPU at all, while getting the "offline career experience" at the same time. Thankfully I trust the guys who will show up in TGT not to flaky. :D

I don't think I'm being a hater here at all, just don't think this game's for me. As I said earlier it looks and plays great, the new collision system was really impressive too. Just didn't improve the same issues I've always had is all I'm trying to say.

Sucks to see the blitzing issue wasn't corrected. I know coach sliders took care of it last season. But still a pain in the ass.

The issue with online play is either you play in a league...and get one game every couple of days. Or you try and play randoms and deal with cheese. Not to mention connection issues, lag, dropped games, quits, inability to actually find a game and a hundred more issues.

Madden was alright offline after the last patch (in December...for an August release).

Anyone else going to a midnight release? I need to find out if the Gamestop around here is having one.

I have the next day off, so I will be if my local Gamestop does it, which they usually do.

Yeah but do the lazy ass Walmart employees where you are actually have that stuff out on the shelves at midnight? They sure don't here.

Tell them to go get it.

A lot of walmarts now either do special midnight releases where they have things set up. Or they'll have a computer in the electronics section with their website on it. Pull up the NCAA page, show them the release date, tell them to take their ass in the back or behind the counter and get it out the box.

There's no reason you shouldn't be able to get it from walmart on or before 12:01 am on the release date.

That would work if there were anyone back there lol. Every time I've been there it's near impossible to actually find an employee. The Walmart here is pretty white trash, so I usually try to stay away from there anyways.
