I don't know if it's just me or what but with the Oregon QB I threw A LOT of wild passes. I would have a guy wide open on a hitch and the bail would completely sail.

Just played Oregon vs Texas. Played as Oregon and dominated 21-0 but it was on AA. I'll probably jump up to Heisman to see if i can make it a better game.

Lol @ EA giving Phillip Sims 80 speed and 86 acceleration. Just because he's a black quarterback doesn't mean he's pretty fast. He's most definitely a pocket passer that isn't much faster than McCarron
EDIT: And they definitely underrated a lot of Alabama's players. They overrated just as many thoughComment

Besides that, EA has an infinite amount of resources to program the game properly. They have all the data in the world to figure out how often passes should be dropped and by whom, etc. Overall creating as much of a simulation as possible. Creating a game that's going to spit out some realistic statistics. The few times I've messed with sliders, first they're very limited in what they can do, secondly I always wonder if I've skewed the game incorrectly. I like for there to be a set standard in the game, I hate the idea of even introducing sliders. But, that's me.
The thing is, I don't want the game to play out how I want. I want it to play out how it would in real life. For that, you need the mountains of data that only EA has.Comment

Thing is though, I still don't think realism will make people happy. I guarentee that EA is still going to get yelled at when that wide open reciever drops a pass that anyone could have caught. People will just tell EA to fix the game again, even though simple stuff like that does happen. All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.
"rammer" and "cummings"
The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.Comment
