Rangers defeat Mets in spring training game where David Murphy of the Rangers went 3/4 with a HR and 2 RBI's to hold off the Mets 4-2. CJ Wilson went 5 1/3 allowing 4 hits 1 run while striking out 8 to get the victory. Adrian Beltre added a key insurance run as he hit a bomb to left field.

GG Brotha, these strikeouts are ridiculous and hoping they fix that soon. It looked like you tried one of those fake throws to 1st that ended up costing you on the 2 run HR by murphy. I'm sure you will get payback in the rematch lol. Hit me up anytime, loving this game

i think i'm finished with analog hitting. as if timing isn't a pain in the dick already, i'm sick at looking at previous pitches where the timing is perfect on say...a high in the zone fastball....yet my PCI is BELOW the zone ENTIRELY.

I mean, WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF CALCULATION IS THAT?

I'll control my own PCI, that's just fuckin silly how often it's like that.

Just got this yesterday and played Maynard with buttons (by mistake). Had like 8 fucking balks. IDK for sure, but I think it might be because I wasn't waiting for the full animation the pitcher goes through while selecting pitch and starting meter. Anyways, he killed me and that was with me using buttons.
Started a chise and went with full analog. After the first two games I came to the conclusion that if this league stays with full analog, I will not be able to hang and it would be a waste of time to see sub-par pitchers having 15 plus strike out performances on the reg.

GG Pepper, I didn't try the fake throw I hit the button twice because I didnt think it took the first time...I am gonna have to remember to not do that this year.

I also played Townie sat. night he won 5-3 I think Reds over Mets...Jon Niece was TERRIBLE but Ollie Perez sparkled in relief(SHOCKINGLY). Chapman is unfair with his 102 fastball and change. This game was marred by my lack of patience as I couldnt wait with Niece to set and balked a few times tho it is GREAT to see it in game action.

I don't think we're going to force controls because for one I don't think we can and also I don't think it's providing any sort of advantage. Right now I say just use whatever you are comfortable with.

As for the bolded, that's likely it and I'd advise you to wait a pause when your pitcher gets set. Basically sounds like "quick pitching" which is something that pisses most of us off.

they added in balks because everyone quickpitched last year which -
A) didnt allow for the running game to be played properly on either side.
B) speed up your opponent at the plate and really changed that dynamic too.

basically quick pitching is BALKING and there for should have been eliminated originally but I dont think they could do it without leaving an unfair advantage in the running game...now they have balanced the 2 much better.

Well, if it is because of "quick pitching" which is something I really didn't think of because I have always played offline..... I completely understand and will take note.
