I was checking out your boxscores, you are killing the ball. Definately the exception not the rule.

well i was striking out 15-20 times a game after my 1st 5 games and then changed my batting camera angle and it has helped alot.

well maynard just kicked my ass on veteran hitting. My timing was way off because ive played all but 3 of my games on all star, played 1 on legend and 1 on hall of fame. He obviously has been using veteran because he was right on. Had a hard time laying off all his low pitches below the strikezone.

nope...none of it. i thought the connection was great. all of my games have have near flawless connections

i use catcher #3...but i did just K 14 times vs peppers. on the flipside i had 15 hits and 9 runs. thru 8 games my BA is .244

gg peppers. that flyball to CF u robbed me of a HR was awesome. i wish we got a replay of that

i got 4 games on vet hitting out of 8 total. again the biggest difference is the speed differential between off speed and FB. playing townie last night on AS i had 9 hits and 8 runs...but had 18K

the 14 K in our game is tad misleading.

Wouldn't vet hitting just increase the pci, as opposed to slowing down the pitch speed?

                I'm confused.

yeah that was the highlight of the game for me lol. I am just too used to all star so as you saw my timing was way off on the offspeed stuff. Its hard to adjust to one setting or another without knowing what the final verdict will be for the league. Personally I think all star is the way to go across the board. once people start using their 3,4, and 5 guys you wont see 2-1 or 3-2 type games every game.

Getting this game down on AS/AS buttons, NSZ, NGP. Key to it all is taking balls to build pitch counts and use the circle button when you get to a 2-count for strikes. This is the best option for check swings as well as fouling off the iffy ones. Have also hit some nice solid base hits with this button as well as a couple of dingers. I've been using the Dodgers against randoms and they are deadnasty all the way through their lineup.

                    *edit*
GG last night Brotha2ThaNight. Game came down to the tying run crossing the plate, but batter being thrown out at 1st from a throw deep in the hole at SS.

u might want to look at his box scores again

idk who these people are that he plays, but its pretty obvious that they are not too good. i recognize our guys like moon, brotha ect. But he has a guy that he played 3 times and struck out 24 times or more each game. one game he had 28 strike outs....there is only 27 out in a 9 inning game. that one went 16....but my point is that if they cant hit they probably cant pitch either

                              Exactly.

I think veteran hitting just makes the pci bigger, and allows for better contact.

And after awhile, if hitting gets a little unrealistic, you can then move to veteran pitching, which will make it easier to hit your spots, less mistakes over the middle, leading to harder hitting.

Even with veteran hitting, 1st and 2nd starters stuff is still hard to hit when they are on as well it should be.

Could be, practice patience makes for the best contact though.
