Cheesiest player?

In my scheme last year, if I saw one on one coverage I had a TD. If some one had a 3 man front, I'd run the ball.. I had a whole scheme, you don't see that in the sim world. People run all kinds of formations, plays -- for the sake of doing it. That's actually NOT sim at all. If you're attacking some one's defense with a few plays and have tremendous success, why would you stop? It's up for the defense to adjust, and then for you to adjust in return. Manning stays in about 3 formations all game. If he sees a soft front because a D is playing coverage D, he's audibiling to a run. If he sees man 2 deep 3 man front, a run or crossing routes/comeback combinations. Tourny style in theory is MUCH more SIM then a lot of these clueless idiots who think SIM is just mixing up plays for the sake of doing it.

I'm convinced you have no idea what the term "sim" even means. Sim does not mean running random plays just for the hell of it. Sim is not sprinting back once you snap the ball. Sim is not running two plays all game. Sim is not setting up blitzes that fuck with the AI resulting in extremely quick pressure. Sim is not rocket catching.

By definition, sim is playing the game the way you would see it played if you were to turn on your TV on Sundays and watched a legitimate real life NFL football game. Granted, I'm sure there's tons of people out there that cry "cheese" when they lose, but that's always going to happen.

When I see "tournament style" players, I think of the douche bags who sprint to the side line, chuck a bomb, trigger a rocket catch, and then proceed to do that while mixing in their all curls or some shit.

I play for money unless it's against an old school MM guy, I don't want to waste my time. FYI Madden 10 had no stick. Also MOBB it's not all exploits the major ones are banned.. I'll show you when I get home what I mean.

We play "Sim" to make up for maddens shortcomings. Only in Madden would a dime or quarters defense (see some cheesy ass Raiders east room baller) be able to successfully stop the run. Thats just one example but the programming is far from perfect. Shit like this shouldnt have to be explained. Its a game of flaws where playing sim patches up its holes somewhat.

Thanks, I know what sim means.. I played at MM from 04 beginning of 07.. people started to have problems with my game when I got very manual with stuff.

Running backwards? Guess who helped get that out of the game for Madden 12? If you run backwards now and throw a pass it's a floater or you're going off of your backfoot. WE (lot of tourny guys) have a tournament director who does a lot with EA and we wanted it gone..

Last year I made the play Y-TRAIL famous out of strong close because of the weird route on the left that if it were one on one at all, it was an easy click on bomb.. Guess what? EA saw the final game of mine and they fixed that route, now it's utterly useless. The guy who won in the EA finals over me last year relied heavily on slant outs to the sideline.. they're now fixed. You guys don't realize how much we're here to help the game..

And again, re read my post above.. everything I said was spot on and is exactly how it is on NFL Sunday's.. stop with the exploit talk, the Saints audible around to bunch formations to destroy man coverage, run streak seams against zone defenses, etc etc... they're looking to exploit the coverage, like we are..

Dime/Qtr D with a stacked line vs someone playing cheap with the Raiders can stop the run as if it was the 85 Bears. It should be easy to run against but its pretty much bullshit. Keep in mind that some of use dont use front runners.

One thing I never understood though, is why people attack "cheesers" as if they're trying to make them feel bad or something? People play the game the way they want to. One, why should they care if you disagree with how they play? Two, why do you care in the first place?
