I don't understand what he means by no HD. The feed streams over the interwebz, so you are not going to have true HD anyway. Is the Aspect ratio HD? Yes. Is the stream smooth? Yes. Is this as close to possible to 1080p? Yes. I had friend over and they were mesmerized at the video quality of the app.

This is what the video quality has been since Week 2....

i started the app and you only have the option to buy from ps3 or login with your directv account. i even deleted the app and re downloaded it and still nothing.

i googled and not one mention of a free preview was listed anywhere.

My video quality was horseshit. I have Brighthouse Lightning Internet package 40Mbps and I was not impressed. I kept hoping it would get better each week. I'm not a super-techy guy so I don't know what the issue could've been, but, my quality wasn't impressive.

The video streaming is fine now, it could be a little better but the stream is consistent with no stuttering. The audio is still 2 channel. There was an update to the app last week that added some basic DVR type controls.

Hmmm, see when I logged on that day I got a message from [PSN] and it said some shit bout being a loyal customer and that the Sunday Ticket was free this weekend...but it also had an attachment included in the message and I clicked on it for shits and giggles. It took me to the PSN store and read "NFL Sunday Ticket Voucher" at that point I just canceled out since I was already subscribed to the app. So maybe just some people got it or something, but I swear it took me to a screen where I could get a voucher for it.

I get 30 down and 5 up.....I have no issues. It could be your router, provider, maybe try a speed test? Is the ps3 wired in?

It is wireless and now that you bring that up, I do remember some people saying that they may need to be wired for the service to work optimally. I have my PS3 in our master bedroom and the router out in the living room/common area.

Yea.....ummm that's definitely your problem. NEVER use the wireless on the PS3. The PS3 wireless adapter is the worst in the business. I haven't used the PS3 wireless since 2007. For gaming it's terrible and streaming it's terrible.

Just not worth the trouble.

Not gonna lie, all season long I've been running on wireless. Router's way on the other side of the house too and still the quality & stream is flawless.
