why change it? its perfect really. Like Mobb said we just have to vote on AP or AM but really with sliders now we should make it AM if not for the kicking meter alone which a fucking joke on anything else.

Make it AM and then tune the sliders a bit then voila.

Why change it the clock? Because options you didn't previously have in the past are available now and these options provide a more sim experience and give the players more strategic options in their approach to the game.

Why change the difficulty? Because while it's fun to joke that Madden is always the same game every year, it's flat out not what it was back in 2004. The AI has changed, the animations have changed, etc.

I remember when I tried to sell some people on these settings when I first launched TGT and they would play a drive or two then say they want to quit. They couldn't care to even try out half a game before going back to arguing for AM....but then turned around and played 5 seasons of AP/ACC Clock. Guess it really wasn't so bad, was it?

I have to admit I do find it funny that the guys who are hard for AM/5-6 min quarters simply argue for it by saying "well that's the way it was" and have no other support for it other than that. The few AM supporters that have tried to come up with reasons why Accelerated clock will take too long (srsly, do we need to define ACCELERATED?) simply don't make any sense. I'd wager most of you have hardly gave these settings a chance, it takes time to get used to something new after years of playing the game one way, I get that.


Do we have 2 guys on this site with Madden 11 willing to play 2 games, one at 6 min Q's and one at 8min ACC Clock, so they can time the bloody things and we can put this "OMG ITS GONNA BE SO LONG" argument to bed?



It doesn't have to be league settings, I expect my leagues to be at 10 mins Q's like they were during Madden 10, but 8 mins should easily be sufficient.

Did you even read Killgod's post above? KG, can you post in huge bold letters again that 8 min accelerated clock games TAKE JUST AS LONG TO PLAY AS A 6 MINUTE GAME WITHOUT ACCELERATED CLOCK. Why is this concept so difficult to understand?
