Also, Ramone said that Gametrailers will be having videos up too. He said he submitted them today, so keep an eye out.

I know someone will ask so I'll answer it now.


I fast-forwarded through the intro (the GT footage will have the full intro scene) in an effort to get as much gameplay as possible on the three videos.


the OS video is from an exibition game so you won't see a ton of new overlays. The GT and Machinama footage is from franchise mode and it shows a bit more of the new overlays and league leaders etc.....

So here is me trying to justify buying a Vita.

Vita, MLB 12 for Vita, MLB 12 for PS3 would set me back $382

So let's say I get 100 hours of gameplay out of the game (this should be a pretty good underestimate)

So that would mean my entertainment with that would be $3.82 an hour.

Going to a movie is about $5 an hour.

Going out to eat is about $20 an hour.

Renting movies redbox style is a steal at around $.60 an hour

I don't know how long it takes me to read a book but I'm a slow reader so I get a ton of bang for my buck out of a book. It's probably around $.15 an hour or way less for that

I can go on but I feel like it's a decent deal...

They didn't change EVERYTHING but the overlay is different graphic, the cut scenes (where team logos pop up) are different, they show more side action (not just catcher throwing ball back to pitcher & batter moving away from box for two steps and back in). I watched it late last night, so that's all I could tell....I'll watch them again. I turned off commentary after the 1st week in 2011, so I don't know how much they talked about in season happening in franchise mode (also only played RTTS). More wide shots of the field/stadium during ABs. One thing I mentioned to the wife was how the game showed BA for night games, in MLB '11 I never saw that @ least in RTTS mode.

The commentary is a non-issue for me. I barely notice it. Many times I'll turn everyone off except the play by play.
