Yup. Surprisingly with how money hungry Activision is, they don't have online passes.

They make up for it by having few CoD sales and taking years to drop the price (see: Black Ops MSRP at $40-50).

Dunno how well MW3 went for the XBOXers around here but judged by the Game Night list, there still might be a contingent around.

so i finally figured out why my headset wouldnt work...seems the great developers at Treyarch decided it would be best to have people hold down the Z key to use voice chat online...no toggle...just hold...very effective while trying to shoot

Well I caved and bought it. I liked what I played earlier today on the rental copy. I dunno if it's the couple years I've taken off from COD or what, but it felt pretty decent.
