Micro-transactions will be available tomorrow for the 360....including the "bacon" weapon camo-

Activision has announced that they will be adding in-game optional purchases called ‘Micro Items’ to Call of Duty Black Ops 2. These packs are called ‘Personalization Packs’ which allow you to dress up your favorite weapon how you want to. Each pack has a calling card, a camo, and three reticles and cost only 160 Microsoft Points.

Another pack is called the Extra Slots Pack – this adds 10 more create-a-classes and expands your storage allowing 20 more emblems, 32 more films, and 40 more screenshots.

Activision has confirmed that the Nuketown 2025 map – a previously pre-order only map – will be available for free to download on Xbox LIVE starting Wednesday.

And finally, Nuketown Zombies will be available for purchase for 400 MSP starting Wednesday.

All these packs are completely optional.

These all will be available on other platforms at a later date.

Instead of getting dedicated servers Activison is giving away 1 million dollars to pro gamers. More funny is that the lead guy at Treyarch is focusing so much time and attention on fixing things for the pro gamers. They nerfed the Kap-40 and gun that only has 15 bullets but yet they refuse to touch any of the other pistols or the snipers in the game.

If it's the only game you really play, I guess the aesthetic switch is a good thing. I can't stomach that much COD (or any game for that matter) but I've given up on stupid DLC and microtransactions like that. They are here to stay.
