I wouldn't find Diablo 3 on any platform to be a surprise. That it would be on the PS3 exclusively would be huge though, and a big "get" for Sony, particularly after missing out on Minecraft.

My only real hope would be that it is a direct port. Don't dumb it down a TON

I don't know if you could really dumb down any Diablo game, and 3 sounds so streamlined (still haven't played it ) that I think it would make the easiest port of any of them.

I hope so. I guess my main thing is that some idiot would feel the need to "arcade" it up (if that makes sense).

It kind of does, but there are better examples I think of PC to console dumb downs. I love me some Diablo, but it's hard to dumb down a game that pretty much everyone describes as "clickclickclickclickclickclick".

theres a guy on battle net i think tht uses a xbix controller to play and says its very easy and intuitive.

only thing sucks about this is im gonna have to buy a ps3 version maybe. what wouldbe amazing is cross platform play.

sidenote- just soloed hell. wasnt too hard. boss i died most was belial and only skipped 1 champion mob. now the fun begins i guess. Also only 1 legendary found at end of nightmare, killed close to 35k enemies so far.

I've gotten one "legendary" item, at the beginning of Hell. Can't even use it with my wizard...

so all the good loot is now going to the Real Money Auction House that opened today. anybody use it yet? its amazing how much real money people are paying for loot.



that Legendary Helm sold for $250 today......
