    Question about rechargebale batteries?

Are all rechargebles compatible? Meaning if I have a Kodak rechargebable kit can I just buy any brand of rechargebale batteries to charge in the cradle?

You can do if the batteries have the same MaH.

I know I put some cheapo ones in my energizer one I had and well neither the charger or the batteries work anymore.

Basically how much charge it can hold. My little energizers that I use for xbox 360 controllers are 2500 mah's. The crap ones I bought were like 1800 or something and the charger does 2500 so who knows.

I google'd around and most peeps are saying don't do it.
