GRID 1 is a thing of beauty, especially at 2560x1440 but its hard as hell. I played with the settings and cannot control the car for the life of me.

I think that was just a bad lobby. A lobby full of accidentally bump me in an arcade racer and I'm going to punt you off the track. I don't mind the accidental wrecking, it's the people who take this game too seriously and then seek revenge.

I hear ya man. I downloaded it off steam for $3 thanks to JMS and the game is fun but man I lost count of how many times I spun myself around backwards going around a sharp corner lol

I am going to do single player tonite...I dont think I can stomach another session of online with the same fucking cars. I have money now but the only cars I can buy are tier one.

I really enjoy racing online with friends but not with the same cars over and over. it will take forever to level up and earn credit.

Do this, makes a big difference

In the hardware config xml, change the line that reads  to read 

go to your "my documents" folder..
there should be a codemasters folder with a save game and hardware  config folders..go to the config older and the xml file is in there..
you can open it in notepad and make the adjustment

I'm loving GRID 1 on PC. The game looks amazing, although cockpit view is too hard. I go with hood.

I do have Track IR head tracking, I should try it.

I thought there were setting in Grid 1 that can help with the driving. You have to be real careful with the high horsepower cars around turns and the analog triggers.

There are settings but they didn't help in my case until I made that change.



It would be great to play people but I'm sure they servers were disconnected years ago
