What are you currently playing?

Started up my Xbox copy of Sleeping Dogs yesterday. Gah, game does everything so well and I'm loving it just as much as when I first played it back at launch. Also just fired up Gravity Rush on my Vita a few minutes ago.

Been fairly quiet on the MP front lately, but Twigg and I plunged into MAG last night with the help of Pad. Pretty fun game, especially for $0.99.

I've been slowly chipping away at 1999 in BI (also shooting to finish with the Scavenger Hunt achievement which seems like a bad idea pretty much constantly). On top of that, I've been playing Terraria and Battleblock Theater with the girlfriend (both of which are very good -- really like Terraria's auto targeting for digging), and playing Terraria on 360 inspired me to boot it up on PC again to finally embark on Hardmode. Also played a couple of hours of Guacamelee last night. Everything has been kind of bits and pieces for me since plowing through BI.

I've been dabbling with Dragon's Dogma, MAG, Guacamelee, and FTL: Faster Than Light.

I don't know what to make of Dragon's Dogma. Maybe they meant "Don't try this unless before you beat the game on Normal," but Hard difficulty is fucking hard. It took me a few attempts just to get past the tutorial, and the first enemy I encountered after creating my character killed me with one hit.

Guacamelee is fun from the bit I've played.

I'm still trying to unlock new ships and ship types in FTL. I'm a lot better at getting to the last sector, but I haven't been able to kill the boss since my lone Engi Type A victory.

I've also been streaming a lot of Sleeping Dogs on PC. Very fun game.

That's one of the few games where I'll die during a quest and not mind just because it was crazy...like when I was holding onto a Gryphon as it flew away from the battle, ran out of stamina, and fell about a thousand feet to my death.

That's one of the few games where I'll die during a quest and not mind just because it was crazy...like when I was holding onto a Gryphon as it flew away from the battle, ran out of stamina, and fell about a thousand feet to my death.

I thought playing as a mage would be a nice change of pace from the characters I usually create for these games. I'm wondering if it would be worth it to restart and make a strider character.

Who cares if Vanquish shorter? inFAMOUS 2 is fucking awesome as well.

Vanquish is a very fun gameplay wise, but the story is shit and repetitive. inFAMOUS 2 has just as good, if not better gameplay and a story to go with it.
