I'm late to this thread, but after watching all the press conferences yesterday. Sony have sold me the Ps4. By far the better system. Not to mention it won't lock down my game to my system like the Xbox. Instead Sony has introduced there way of sharing games with your friends.

Saw a interview with the Titanfall creators, they said it's not out of the question that it comes to PS4.

Have to admit, the most ironic thing about this E3 is the internet's "support" for developers, yet the major reason they all support the PS4 is the ability to buy and sell used games.

Have to admit, the most ironic thing about this E3 is the internet's "support" for developers, yet the major reason they all support the PS4 is the ability to buy and sell used games.

 

From a hardware specs standpoint, the PS4 is better for developers. The great thing about the XB1 requiring a kinect and always online is the fact that developers have to make a game for one genre of people. They won't be worried about people not having a kinect, internet, pseye, psmove, etc.....they can make the same game for every single person that owns a XB1 and that is HUUUUUGE.

I imagine it was on par with the Battlefront reveal considering the Skyrim team is making it, and they only switched over a few months ago. I'm guessing it'll be a 2015 game at the earliest.

It's said that a very smal team has been working on it since 2011, then the Skyrim team joined them once they were finished with that. But yes, it's said to be a fall 2015 release.

agreed...that is such a huge game. Along with trying to make it even more epic with the next gen hardware Skyrim and Fallout are a ways out.

Right now I really want to play Witcher 2...seems like so long ago that I beat the 2nd one. Geralt is such a cool character.

I'm sure they've had pre-production guys working on the story and setting related stuff for a while, but only got a fraction of the work was probably done with that team for a game that'll probably be larger in scope than Skyrim.
