Fable Anniversary will sport quick loading times, achievements, SmartGlass support, and a new interface. Oh, and there's a leaderboard for punting chickens. The Lost Chapters content that was added later will also be included.

Halo graphics were very well done and I don't feel they changed much of anything with the core game, so this should be a must-have for Fable fans.

If they are making it the same way they did Halo Anniversary, it will work just fine. It was literally re-made graphics, and that was it.

Are you so itching for something new from Lionhead that them remaking Fable 1 is that big of a disappointment for you?

I just have no interest in spending money old games remade that I already played and paid for. Honestly these games aren't even that old.

Everyone gets so excited about all these HD remakes....IMO I have no use for them. I played them back in the day and they were great but to spend money on them again for the same gameplay but better visuals, nope. There so much more out there that I have not experienced for ME to spend my money on.

If you havent played these games before then this is a great option.

I get your point, but I still have a sneaking suspiscion that you probably don't care about the Fable games anyway. So I ask again, why does this particular one bother you?

The HD remakes are a low cost way to cater to a rabid fanbase AND get new fans. I really don't see why it bothers some people. It's not like it's holding these developers back from making new stuff, considering in most cases it's farmed out anyway.

Well with the absence of Twigg someone has to bitch and complain about something, right?

True, I may try it out as I've never played the Fable games and I find games I have yet to play from previous generations difficult to get into. Plus, the achievements/trophies are huge for some (though I don't get it personally) and with Halo, they remade some of the online maps and had specialized playlists if you bought the Anniversary edition.

                          Fable Anniversary

I had no idea this was even a thing. $30 still seems like $10 too much. Typical M$ charging $30 or $40 for ONE HD remake.

If I like Fable 2, would I like the original? I never played it.
