NCAA 14 DEMO IMPRESSIONS

Over all this is the NCAA game when all been waiting for this entire generation. CPU can run the option very good. CPU QB scrambles are deadly. Hell they even FIXED the CPU punt returners. They no longer just blinded run in a straight line head on into traffic. The returners now look to cut it to the sidelines where there is open space. You can now FINALLY clearly tell the scrubs on the team from the elite players on the field by how they play. There is definitely a night and day difference between running with a good RB and a sucky one. Shovel option is legit and actually works. Cover 2 and Cover 4 zones are greatly improved as well. The new stiff arm system is very usefully.

I am highly impressed, can't believe EA Sports made a football game this good.

The Impact Engine is just much more toned down than Madden 13 (which I feel is a good thing). In videos you may not be able to tell as much, but actually playing the game you can tell very easily.

This is definitely the best NCAA of this generation. CPU is dare I say, smart? Finally a challenge!

Game is a lot of fun.. running game especially (and as KNUBB said the option game is a blast too).

You know saying it's the best of this gen isn't saying much right? That said, it's not a false statement. Instead of judging everyone else (so shocking of you to do so by the way), why not download the demo and leave your impressions (where I'm sure you'll nitpick at every little detail)?

Not hard to be the best of the generation when the past NCAA's have been lackluster.

From what I have played, demo or not, the gameplay, presentation and all the other little things are easily the best the 360/PS3 versions have had. I have been very hard on this series in the past (didn't even buy NCAA 13), but it is clear that this version will be the best barring any game-killing bugs.

Solid game (so far)....I just hope game killers aren't discovered. Visually, this is the best looking NCAA game....esp. from an Aggie's POV. I know the NCAA crew went to an A&M game and it shows with Cadets, Yell Leaders, and actual Aggie yells incorporated in the game. I thought last year the game overall improved and this year it seems going in the right direction. I'm sure it's not perfect nor do I expect it to be but so many of past iterations were broken.

Only thing I can think of right is now is involving the jerseys. In the demo Michigan has grey facemasks. They are supposed to be blue. Is that something that will be corrected in the retail version?
