Toaster Modded into a Working SNES

I generally skip breakfast when I wake up. I know it’s the most ‘important meal of the day,’ but when I awaken from my deep sleep — I have more intriguing things to do than eat. So for me, owning a toaster is pretty much worthless, it just sits in my kitchen and wishes to be used (yes my toaster does wish).

Now with that out of the way, I wish Vomitsaw on the Ben Hack forums was my friend. He modded a toaster into a real working SNES, if he did that to my toaster, it would finally get the attention its wanted all these years. Not only that, the toaster is filled with LED lights, making it look like a futuristic video game toaster thingy. This is what he said on the forum:

“An SNES crammed inside of a toaster, as you might have guessed by the title. (Built from nothing more than a Super NES, a toaster, four different types of adhesives, magnets ripped from a broken hard drive, six orange LEDs, a bunch of resistors, plexiglass, and many many spare wires no less!) This time the temperature control knob on the front actually serves a purpose, and that crucial task is dimming the orange LEDs. (In the event it begins to toast your retinas in a darkened room).”

After the jump, check out some more pictures of his toaster.

That's pretty sweet. I wonder how long it took.
