Ramone Russell has confirmed Sounds of the Show is in the game. Also no new equipment options are available this year.

How do you download music? Or do you still have to buy it from PS Store?

Sounds of the Show is when you use custom sounds in the game for specific events, ie. HR, walk, error, a Win, etc. You just get a .mp3 and have it saved to the system HD and add it to the games custom sound list. There was question whether or not the feature would still be in the game because the PS4 originally didn't support .mp3 but I believe they already added it in a patch.

the beauty of the ps3 was if you had your streaming from your pc to ps3 setup, you could just copy songs from your pc directly over to your ps3. The PS4 doesnt allow streaming (fucking fags) so you would have to copy music via flash drive or something.

Once songs are on the system, they would automatically be seen in the show. All your own music can replace the games music....in game and in the menus.

this is one of the best features of this game. I would a good week or so waiting on rosters and just setup all my intro/HR/entry music

Yea I usually wait for full minors rosters and batter walkups before starting my franchise. It adds so much more to the game. Now with being able to transfer saves to the next installment of the Show, it's even more incentive to use these features as well.

Yeah, but you have to do it via flashdrive at the moment.

I've never bought anything from the PSN for The Show, so I don't know what you had to buy from PSN that involved Sounds of the Show in the past.

I copied over music I like from a USB drive and put it in MLB The Show. All games should have this feature. Not getting the Show for PS3 this year, waiting for PS4 Show.

The Show has been such a shitty online game, I doubt it. The rare times I ventured online last year, all I saw was R.A. Dickey, knuckleballs and lag.

the lag has always been a concern and can make or break a league. playing sim guys you wont have the other issues.

I know I'm aging myself here, but I loved the 1-on-1 games of RBI 4 I used to have.

I like the scoreboard/stat overlay this year. I wasn't a big fan of the smoking/cold ice effect last year.
