Until internet speeds get higher downloading a 40GB game is stupid for most people.

That's not the point. This shit was supposed to be available at midnight and tons of people get crazy excited for its release each year. As far as I know no store had a midnight release for it so the only way to play it immediately was to download it. Wasn't this shit supposed to have pre-loading anyway? Even without pre-loading most people would have it downloaded in less than an hour.

Are you fuckin high? Most people don't have an ISP that would allow them to download 45GB in an hour lol. Fuck I have FIOS and I wouldn't even be done in an hour.

Ok, a few hours then? Either way it would be way faster than waiting until the game store opens and definitely faster than waiting for the fucking PS Store to update.

An average connection of 12Mbit (ATT Uverse, Comcast, TWC etc) would take 490 minutes... that is 8 hours.

Downloaded it through the PSN app and it only says 37.5 GB but I'm seeing 40GB on another pics. Am I missing something here? lol

I bought the Show today, but couldn't wait for the install to finish (had to go to work), so I put my ps4 in standby mode. Will the install continue?

Just got home with my copy. Game is still installing. Load times from one screen to the next are ridiculous though. I thought the game may have froze at one point it was taking so long.

Yea, load time are ridiculous. Literally 2-3 minutes just to start a game. Not impressed.

Only two teams are fully installed right now. Gonna play a quick player-lock game w/Jackie Bradley Jr against the Giants.

Went 3-4 w/3 SBs. I should note though, that 2 of those SBs were on indifference as we were down 11-5 when I swiped 2nd and 3rd base in the 9th inning.

I have only played RTTS but I have read that the load times are faster after you play a game. But, I guess if you only play one game each time you boot up, you'll have to wait.
