I have to say that I'm excited to finally post this. I have been planning it for months and now I just ordered the parts.

This setup it pretty much the norm at the moment, I believe.

I already have my monitor that I received last week.< LINK > (27" Asus 1080p, etc) So add about $280 to this.

The below total is about $1250 , that is including the $30 for shipping because I'm freaking impatient and want it by Thanksgiving


The NVidia bundle is $109 but that was actually free. I think its just 2 PC games.

I know, right? It's actually covering a defect in the floor that I don't have time to fix. Because I would have to strip the whole room and sand the floor down, again.

Since New Egg has the "Iron Egg Guarantee Return Policy " , I'm returning my GTX 760 2GB and getting a GTX 770 4GB card.

The 760 is fine for regular games but for my flight sims, they eat up the memory in that card.

Since its 'only' $120 difference, and the fact I'll get all of my money back from the other card (I have until 1/31/14), now is the time to jump on this .

Samsung 840 Evo 250GB


Yeah, now that I have everything installed and all my games, it probably takes about 12 seconds
But it was in the 4–5 second range when I just had the OS installed

i have the samsung too. just the 128gb though. those drives are aweome. I wouldnt mind getting another with more space.

I think I paid $189 ? Something like that. Mine is close to being full and that is with only 2 of my 3 flight sims on it. Everything else is on a 1TB HHD.

Oh, and having a New Egg Preferred account isn't good.

I'm lucky though that they have that return policy. My card is almost 2 months old.
