    Ooooohhhhh
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

The Unity season pass will consist of:
      • Dead Kings DLC campaign
      • New Paris missions and equipment
      • AC Chronicles: China - downloadable sidescrolling game that uses the UbiArt engine

I wonder if Steam will have a Cyber Monday sale

So, let me see if I understand this correctly:

We have multiple reviews for all versions of Dragon Age: Inquisition, that won't be released for another 7 days. However, we have NO reviews for Assassin's Creed Unity...which came out almost 11 hours ago. What is Ubisoft doing with this embargo? It certainly SEEMS like it's a kind of dirty way of hoping that people will buy the game before they have the benefit of reading any reviews.

Paris, 1789. The French Revolution turns a once-magnificent city into a land of terror and chaos. Its cobblestone streets flow red with the blood of commoners who dared to rise up against the murderous aristocracy. As the nation rips itself apart, a younger man named Arno embarks on a harrowing journey to expose the authentic powers behind the Revolution. His pursuit thrusts him into the middle of a ruthless struggle for the fate of a nation, and transform him into a true Master Assassin. From the storming of the Bastille to the killing of King Louis XVI, experience the French Revolution unlike any medium that has come before, and assist the people of France carve out for themselves an entirely new destiny.

              That doesn't sound like it's worth $20.

Huh? They look pretty good to me, with the exception of the Joystiq one.

Guess it depends on how big the DLC campaign and the UbiArt game are.

I would not say a 75/5.5 and 79/6.3 is good. Are they terrible? No. But not good either. Most of the more well-known sites are saying it's an just an ok game.

I honestly wouldn't consider ANY AC game review to be stellar at this point. The series has worn way thin. Sure, there's co-op in this one, but that's it. They've done about everything you can possibly do with the series.

But when you have ONE sub-70 review for each platform, I don't think that's "unfavorable" at all. Granted, there aren't many reviews at this point, period.

Well, thank goodness they aren't terrible reviews, or it would have seemed SUPER grimy. I still don't understand why you would embargo reviews for your game for 12 hours AFTER it's released.

That is definitely shady as hell. I think embargoes are bullshit anyway. I understand why they're in place though. But having an embargo AFTER release is doubly bullshit.

Well the Unity review scores are going up on Metacritic. So that's a good sign, I guess.

Interestingly enough, the AC Rogue reviews are a little better than Unity's.

Playing Unity today (probably streaming it depending if I get a decent bit-rate going) and will see for myself if this one's bad or not.

I'm eager to get my hands on it, but it'll have to wait until I finish my Rogue review.

From the bits I've read about Rogue's reviews, you'd like it.
