Once again, dare I say, FLEXIBILITY! You have myself and Primetime that enjoy our kinect, and someone else who doesn't.

Again I ask, "flexibility"? Do you work for MS? Because that's the same word they used to try to defend this back pedaling in this morning's press release. When this console was announced all you MS "mouth breathers" kept spouting off about how a Kinect in each box was a masterful move because it would force everyone to have one and developers could utilize it to its utmost potential. But now it's pretty obvious third party developers don't give an ounce of fuck about it and MS themselves are supporting it just as well as they did the firs Kinect, which is basically next to nothing. Kinect Sports Rivals? LOL.
So now that they are going back to only having some of their user base owning one all of a sudden you "mouth breathers' think it's great because it provides "FLEXIBILITY". Please GTFO.

MS is not wasting any time with this new initiative. I just fired up the 360 and there is shit everywhere on the main screen. Advertising for the new $399 XBOne and the middle tile is a link to the new 'Xbox Live experience'.

Sorry for enjoying the Kinect. I guess I shouldn't.

Mouthbreather? I don't give a fuck what system you enjoy. If you noticed, the only person I'll groan is you for having a hard-on about talking shit about the Xbox One any chance you get.

I'll probably still end up buying the version with the kinect when I stop living with my current roommate (due to him already owning the xbone ) just because I enjoy the voice commands and the ability to use the kinect as a mic in games

I didn't read the entire thread yet but my take is that Microsoft always goes the route to make money. They go out of their way to get extra dollars in their pockets and I really don't think they care whose toes they step on in the process.

I don't have the link handy But I read an article the other day were Bill Gates was quoted as saying and of course I paraphrase, if someone were to decide to ditch the Xbox, I would approve it.

                      what did I miss?

Ps4 just sits there watching all smug.

Lol. Why is this needed in this thread?

Another positive article about the Xbox One and here come the Sony Pony's to come shit on it.

It was expected all along they would price drop. The community asked for a kinect less XB1, they're giving it to them.

                      I'm with YouK.

I use my voice commands too much to not have one. It wouldn't be the same.

Let's try to keep this thread on topic gentlemen. Obviously, Microsoft bringing in a new person to head their operations was going to result in changes. It doesn't mean the Xbox One is doomed or that it won't be in position to do well this generation.

Yea, that quote ran around the internet for a bit. He was simply saying he approves of the decision-making ability of the new CEO. He wasn't saying get rid of the Xbox division by any means.

MS needs to make their XBOX Live service a better place and stop copying Sony...be different and better.
                            Legitimate question.

How much more powerful is the PS4?
