I use power hitting every time (right thumb joystick)
pull back when pitcher releases ball and forward to hit.

Also, how do you attempt a pick off?

I never knew I could, so I didn't.

Never tried a pick off , but on Ego 40 they don't steal often.

So how do you throw a 'power' pitch? Square?

I triple checked the in-game manual and it doesn't mention anything about pick-off attempts.

I understand your point but I said I'm stupid too because I wasn't aware that you could throw a 'power' pitch either. I was also trying to confirm how you do it? Pitch with square?

Oh, I was assuming I heard that from you but maybe I read it in the instructions.

I think it's the same concept as hitting. I hit with the stick for power swings though because letting go of the button to swing isn't a natural thing for me.

I mostly hit with X though , Unless I have a power hitter up for which I have very few.

I will try the power pitching the next time I play though and I will have to look at the instructions to refresh myself on how to do it but I think it's similar to hitting

i just need to win non ego 80 or higher and rob someone from a hr. and the 3rd out strike out.....then i will have all the trophies for that game. its a fun game.

Good luck on that 80 Ego one. I'm playing on 65 and struggling.
