tour pro is sim, as in the gameplay resembles golf.

i was saying if you guys are playing tour pro mode which is without power, air spin, and that putting line thing, i'd be down

i'd prefer that style myself.

i find that after a while it becomes too easy to shoot negative double digits with all that stuff and then the game hits the shelf for good.

Yup, that was the exact plan. You go out with a group just to verify accurate scores, but it's VSN's first ever bi-platform tournament. It might get competitive between the two systems too for who has the best golfers... so picking sides is pretty important lol.

EDIT: Just throwing this in there too since there's been a lot of talk about it. The LAST thing cbgolfer and myself want in this thing is people shooting 59 every round and just blowing everyone out of the water. So there will probably be a couple minor rules in place to keep some things in check, like the above mention power/spin/putt line/etc.

Yea definitely, if you use that putting line, you can learn to make every putt from anywhere on the green. No fun.

And also prevents any hilariously bad putts. Although I like how they only allow you to use it once...it all depends on how good we get at it I guess.

Sorry i didn't read through the entire thread but maybe someone can help me out real quick. I love the tiger woods franchise...I doubt I will play online much if at all...I have a Wii and a 360. Is it a no-brainer I get it for the Wii with the new motion control?

I don't think i will be doing any league stuff. I guess i just wonder if the wii motion thing is going to be cool for a few rounds and then get boring or if it is the real deal.

Just a heads up for those of you who have yet to play it on the Wii, the game is absolutely sick. I'm actually feeling a cough coming on so I can skip out of here at lunch and play the entire weekend.

That motion control addition really works well. The slightest twist of the wrist and you pay for it.
